Welcome to the Loop 256 Group of Alcoholics Anonymous in Palestine, Texas. If you have, or think you might have a problem with alcohol, we invite you to visit us. We will gladly share our experience, strength and hope with you: what we were like, what happened, and what we are like now.
What is A.A.?
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who come together to solve their drinking problem. It doesn’t cost anything to attend A.A. meetings. There are no requirements to participate. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about their drinking problem.
A.A.’s primary purpose is to help alcoholics to achieve sobriety, and stay sober.
When are meetings?
We have meetings everyday that start at 7 pm, and end at 8 pm. There are Noon meetings, 12 to 1, Tuesday and Friday. Doors are usually open and the coffee pot on 15 minutes before the meeting.
